Never Say Never Again

November 7 – January 10 2026

30 new works by solo exhibitors from the early years of The Winchester Gallery and 15 gallery models of site-specific installations

From the early 1980s until the year 2000, The Winchester Gallery occupied the double-height space on the second floor of the WSA East Side building, now the BA Fine Art studio. This exhibition revisits selected exhibitions programmed into that space and some from when the Gallery first moved into the current location. The exhibition comprises new or recent work by thirty solo exhibitors from the original programme, accompanied by fifteen gallery models housing installations from the same era. The exhibition revisits models of site-specific installations originally curated by John Gillett, who from 1985 until 2008 was Director of The Winchester Gallery.
