…this is seriously good music, beautifully played by two jewels of British jazz.’ London Jazz News

Join us as British Jazz stars, Courtney Pine and Zoe Rahman perform music from Courtney’s new album SPIRITUALITY.

Courtney Pine CBE OBE was one of the first black British jazz artists to make a serious mark on the jazz scene in the 80s. His debut album Journey to the Urge Within became the first serious jazz album ever to make the British Top 40. Zoe Rahman is a vibrant and individual pianist and composer. Her style is rooted in jazz, yet reflects her classical background, British/Bengali heritage and her very broad musical taste.

Courtney and Zoe last toured together with the sublime Song, The Ballad Book. The project saw Courtney on bass clarinet and Zoey on grand piano, performing beautiful, stripped back ballads. These were some of the most intimate shows of Courtney’s long and celebrated career.

This year, the duo reunite for a string of concerts to celebrate and debut brand new music from SPIRITUALITY, due for release in the Autumn. A string quartet joins them for a very special live experience.

Spellbinding, shimmers serenely with a breath taking beauty. MOJO

…the raw emotion they evoke is sheer magic. BLUES & SOUL – 10/10
