MC-ICP-MS
Multi collector-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (MC-ICP-MS) was installed in our isotope laboratories in September 1999. It was acquired as part of the PRISMS EC project to examine standards and isotopic measurement techniques. Following this project, the instrument has formed an integral part of isotopic analysis in the NOCS, with a diverse range of applications including environmental, geological, nuclear, and oceanographic.
