The Institute of Sound & Vibration Research (ISVR) maintains a High Pressure Air Facility which can deliver air up to 20Bar (280psi) to the following areas in the Faculty of Engineering and the Environment: B13 Tizard Doak Laboratory (Room 1023) B15 Rayleigh Reverberation (Chamber Room 1031) The use of the facility is potentially hazardous due to the high jet velocities and high air pressures involved. To minimise the risk of injury to oneself and damage to the rig it is essential that all users of the rig strictly adhere to the Operational Procedure (under review).
